Don’t Punish Yourself For Failing
Posted by: Seanwang in Off Topic, Articles, Personal Reflections, Networking, Internet marketing, BlogrollWe all make mistakes. We all fail. Every day.
The great Napoleon Hill once said ‘Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit.’
You need to fail in order to develop. I don’t mean that you should purposely fail at something because it will help you develop, but instead you should look at your failures as clues to future achievement.
The only way that you can properly test the sea-worthiness of a boat is to put it into water. Only then will you know that, if it sinks, it can’t float.
It’s the same with success…if you failed at something…you know that you have one less trial run to make before you achieve success.
This only applies, of course, if you learn from your mistakes and don’t repeat them.
What ‘failures’ in your past can you learn positive lessons from?
What if you could look back - and find out that you only succeeded because you DID fail …and not because you DIDN’T fail? How would you feel?
Treat every setback as a challenge - and I’ll guarantee that your new positive approach to failure will start to produces results for you. Positive results!
