The Is A Purpose Behind You…Posted by: Seanwang in Off Topic, Articles, Personal Reflections, Networking, Internet marketing, BlogrollI came across this quote by a great spiritual master and thought it is very meaningful. Here’s what he says… “Each person comes into this world with a specific destiny–he has something to fulfill, some message has to be delivered, some work has to be completed. You are not here accidentally–you are here meaningfully. There is a purpose behind you. The whole intends to do something through you. - Osho “. I am able to know my purpose behind my online journey after realizing the works I had done for my Guru. I came to understand that we are not here by accidental, we are here to fulfil some works to be done for a purpose. Unless you came realize you purpose, you will not be able to fully understand the path you are walking now.

Don’t Worry Too MuchPosted by: Seanwang in Off Topic, Articles, Personal Reflections, Networking, Internet marketing, BlogrollI’m ’lucky’ in that I am a very positive person. Well, I’m not really lucky…and the only reason that I am so positive is that I live my life ’in the moment’. If you can stop worrying about what you’ve done in the past, and stop worrying about how your actions will affect your future…then you will open yourself up to all sorts of positive events and people that the ’new’ you will encounter. Everyone has to worry…but you must try only to worry about what you (and only you) have direct control over. Worry about anything else outside of that…and you will probably be worrying about something that may never even happen. What can you stop worrying about that you don’t have control over? Nobody has the ’perfect life’. Everyone has the ability to manage the positives and negatives in their lives. Don’t let the negatives get on top of you…otherwise they will just overtake the positives - and you will be constantly miserable as a result.

Challenge YourselfPosted by: Seanwang in Off Topic, Articles, Personal Reflections, Networking, Internet marketing, BlogrollEvery once in a while make a little bet with yourself. Make a bet to aim for something that you wouldn’t normally think you could achieve. It may only to be to stop eating chocolate for a week, or to go jogging for 20 minutes every other day. Sometimes, when you really want to push yourself…challenge yourself to writing a chapter of your book every day, or set the alarm for 5 a.m. every day for a week and spend two hours working. The key to this process is to force yourself to make the distinction between ‘I can’t…’ and ‘I won’t…’ . When you achieve these little successes, they will spur you on to even greater challenges - so you benefit both from completing the task…and from getting more motivation for the bigger ones. What ‘I won’ts’ will you try to break first? Look…even if you only manage it for a week - think of what extra you would have achieved! The novelty may wear off - but if you can’t stick with it - and least you will have moved forward.

Set The Alarm Clock For Fifteen Minutes EarlierPosted by: Seanwang in Off Topic, Articles, Personal Reflections, Networking, Internet marketing, BlogrollIt may not sound like much, but by getting up fifteen minutes earlier every day will give you a whole ninety-one hours (nearly 4 days!) every year with which to do something that can change your future. Use this time wisely…get into work 15 minutes earlier, spend the time read a personal development book, or go for a jog. To make sure that you don’t waste it - note down at the end of every day what you achieved in those fifteen minutes. After a month review what you have achieved…and you will found out that you can make a difference with fifteen minutes every day. Imagine what you could do with half-an-hour! What will you do with your first fifteen minutes every day? Habits can work for you as well as against you. Once you get into the habit of a productive first fifteen minutes every day, you’ll realise what little you used to achieve in the mornings without it.

Finish Something That You Have Left For Too LongPosted by: Seanwang in Off Topic, Articles, Personal Reflections, Networking, Internet marketing, BlogrollWhether you realise it or not, your life is full of ‘clutter’…full of those little things that keep nagging at you in the back of your mind. Take me for example. I KNOW that I have to paint the front of my house, yet for the last two years I have known this and not done anything about it. And every year it looks worse. ‘So What?’ you might say. Well, every time (in the Summer anyway), I go into my house You might think that this is not a big deal…but what about all of the others - such as cutting the grass, clearing the garage, decorating the bathroom, writing to a friend etc. These thoughts clutter up your mind’s real estate. They get in the way of more productive thinking. So this year I’m going to get the paint out, and make room for something more productive. What clutter can you clear - starting this weekend? Make a list of all of those little ‘odd-jobs’ that you have left…meaning to get around to doing ‘when you have the time’. Now - without any prioritizing whatsoever - go and do the first thing on your list. Then the next…and so on. DON’T skip over one…if it’s on the list - it needs doing - so just go and do it! You won’t regret that feeling of achievement after you’ve done them all - I guarantee it!

Don’t Punish Yourself For FailingPosted by: Seanwang in Off Topic, Articles, Personal Reflections, Networking, Internet marketing, BlogrollWe all make mistakes. We all fail. Every day. The great Napoleon Hill once said ‘Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit.’ You need to fail in order to develop. I don’t mean that you should purposely fail at something because it will help you develop, but instead you should look at your failures as clues to future achievement. The only way that you can properly test the sea-worthiness of a boat is to put it into water. Only then will you know that, if it sinks, it can’t float. It’s the same with success…if you failed at something…you know that you have one less trial run to make before you achieve success. This only applies, of course, if you learn from your mistakes and don’t repeat them. What ‘failures’ in your past can you learn positive lessons from? What if you could look back - and find out that you only succeeded because you DID fail …and not because you DIDN’T fail? How would you feel? Treat every setback as a challenge - and I’ll guarantee that your new positive approach to failure will start to produces results for you. Positive results!

Spoil yourself occasionallyPosted by: Seanwang in Off Topic, Articles, Personal Reflections, Networking, Internet marketing, BlogrollEvery once in a while you have to give yourself a break. Maintaining a successful life is as difficult as achieving one in the first place. So maybe you should let go occasionally and treat yourself to something as a reward for working on your development. It should necessarily be a big thing (as guilt will soon set in), but should be something just for you that you can get some enjoyment or benefit out of. So next time you feel a bit low, treat yourself to a big bar of chocolate…or a CD…or an evening out…or a massage. These little bonuses are sometimes all we need to give us the energy to keep moving forward, and to recharge our ’success’ batteries. What will you give yourself today without feeling guilty? Go on! If you’re like me - you probably worry more about the negative side to a little self-indulgence than focusing on the benefits you actually get from it! You have my permission to spend (no - not waste) some time in the bath, or for pudding after your meal. Life’s too short not to spoil yourself occasionally…but don’t make a habit out of it!

Know What THE Goal IsPosted by: Seanwang in Off Topic, Articles, Personal Reflections, Networking, Internet marketing, BlogrollMany people swear by setting goals…and probably the same number of people swear that they don’t work. Goals do work, but only if you know what you really want to achieve with them. It’s all very well saying that you want to be a Millionaire in three years time, but you must ask yourself why. Would a doubling of your salary achieve the same aim, or paying off your mortgage? Have big goals, by all means, but you must have a serious emotional attachment to them, otherwise you will have very little reason to stick with it when the setbacks come around…which they most certainly will. How will you go about finding about what your big goal is? There is a saying that goes - ‘You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone’. What and who would you miss if you were faced with a year alone on a desert island? Would your Playstation be more important than your family? Would a pile of money be more use than your health? Move your thinking away from money - and towards what’s important to you. If your goal can’t be achieved without sacrificing what’s really important to you - then you’d better change your goal! |
